The Mya Arts and Tech Foundation held their First Annual Step-Show Competition, November 17th, 2007 at the Howard University. It was a successful event!

The Mya Arts and Technology Foundation is dedicated to the educational advancement of the Washington DC and greater Metropolitan area youth. TMATF provides opportunities for youth to engage their creativity, increase their 21st century literacy and future workforce readiness, and make contributions to the arts and larger society. TMATF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

TMATF plans to expand its geographic reach and instruction to include a broad base of classes ( film and acting). TMATF and Howard Road Academy have joined forces and created a summer enrichment program geared towards arts and technology education for ages 5 through 13 years of age. Classes begin on July 1,2008.
